Lols, just came back from watching Deathnote 2 today with XJ, Derek and Shaun at Marina Square. Come to think of it, why the hell did we go so far just to watch a movie anyways?

Still, I was very disappointed that the arcade there had no Metal Slug 6. Bleh, lousy.

Ok, the movie. I was under the disillusion, that the 2nd movie had absolutely nothing to do with the first movie.

WRONG!

In fact, the 2nd movie picked off when the first movie left. And I was there, with only basic knowledge about the Manga series, watching the 2nd movie before the first.

Actually come to think of it, I rather enjoyed the movie, though its interesting that the movie, that mostly revolved around logic, turned out to be illogical in some parts. Lol.


I mean, if you'all remember the first time L met Light on the chessboard.. When Light siad Checkmate.... Well... It wasn't. lol.

(These is the parts that I remembered about the game - The significant pieces)

Even a kid can tell you that you can hxg6 and kill the knight, thus its not a checkmate. For it to be a checkmate, the pawn on h6 has to be replaced by a Queen, pinning the pawn on h7 to the King on h8 and disallowing it from taking the knight.


Ok back to the movie, it was pretty well made lah, very intellectual movie, making you think about questions such as if Light a.k.a. Kira, correct is such murders. Murders of criminals without going though the Court of Law. (Think about it :P)

Then after the movie, Shaun decided to go to the toliet. While me, XJ and Derek waiting for him, we left for the station without us. We waited there thinking he had a bad stomachache for 15mins. -.-"'.

Bleh so ends the Movie trip. lol.
