Today at the NEPCCG period that was brought up, we were taught about different types of leadership that one should adopt to be an effective leader.
Basically, it was focused on 2 types. Positional(Where you are thrown into the job and is forced to take it) and Emotional(Where you manage to persuade others with your skills for them to follow you wholeheartedly).
Of this two, while I've been thrown with the former in both Chinese Orchestra and IT Club back in BP, I still respect the ones in this world who can lead by the latter. The reason?
It all started in Secondary 2, where I was in CO with Wei Guo, my instrument partner. Seriously, back then he has such strong emotional leadership skills, that I WANT to be lead by him. That solid feeling that he won't lead the team astray, as well as that point that he won't leave my talent to waste.
Even as a follower I'm happy. To be such a leader, is something that I hope I can slowly move towards I guess.
Well, lets work for it.
Signing out. =D.
