Losing.

What is losing? As in, losing a loved one, losing a friend or maybe just losing a person you only just met.

Should we mourn over the loss (to death or otherwise)? If not what else?

Losing another is something that we would encounter in our lives. No matter what we do, we cannot prevent the uncertainties of life. We will be dragged into the vicious cycle whether we like it or not, and unfortunately, there isn't going to be a government to provide us with resources to get out of this cycle.

We have to accept the fact that it is part of our lives. There is nothing wrong with crying over a loss. Its natural. There's nothing morally wrong about it. Cry your heart out, just let it all out instead of bottling it in. When the tears stop running, we will naturally feel better and be more appeased. Being creatures with 'bad memory', these feelings from losses will naturally dilute itself, and pretty soon be removed completely. While this portrays the humans as an amoral being, sadly, it is the truth. We never hold on to our past feelings. In the course of time, the feelings would soon be corroded away to make place for newer ones, only to be replaced in the future.

Other that crying, we must remember to come back to reality and adept to the change to improve our lives. What is lost, is lost. There is no point in crying over spilled milk literally or otherwise =X, we must let go and move on, or risk being pushed over by the waves of life.

Another bored Pen Dic Kok at work. =D
