Challenge the impossible?

Should we tend towards challenging the impossible? Or satisfying with what we have?

Satisfying with what we have is a common choice that most people would pick. We as humans, are born lazy. That is the sad truth. Our bodies have built-in instincts that urges us to conserve as much energy as possible as we go thru our daily lives. With that, we prefer to just lay back and immerse ourselves with cheap thrills that would come at almost no price at all. Small little moral boosters that we would enjoy as we lay back and relax.

However, what about challenging the impossible?

Impossiblity in this context, of course, is not literally impossible, but what seems to be impossible. It would be retarded to try challenge yourself to stay alive without breathing wouldn't it?

So should we challenge the difficult?

Why not? I believe most ppl here have been through major exams through your entire life. When you actually do study from an exam and score, do you actually feel a sense of satisfaction? That unexplanable feeling that your hard work has finally paid off at the end?

Its not the result that pleases you but the point that the hard work was not for vain. Not only that, but also the satisfaction that you are actually able to do something difficult that others may not be able to do, that sense of superiority that you are actually not at the bottom.

But also, dun you think that failure from the challenge wouldn't really dampen your spirit much?

Its something that you KNOW you probably won't be able to overcome. Failure to overcome it isn't really that much of a blow when it happens.

But what if you were going for cheap thrills and fail? You failed in a task that practically needed you to do close to nothing at all. Can you handle such a blow?

Its like taking a Primary School Maths test and failing it. How would you feel in that position? Not very nice huh?

Go on, reach for the moon, even if you miss you'll fall amongst the stars. (Actually, the stars are a hell lot further away than the moon.)
