Today I discovered that acts of stupidity doesn't come one by one, but in a nicely wrapped package that deals you a sucker punch without you even noticing.
Allow me to recount today. It started out with the SP Open Blitz Chess Competition. Only scored 1.5/4. Quite a sad score but its expected lah, I've never really been able to do well in blitz anyways.
For the benefit of non-chess players, a blitz match is a chess match where each player is only given 5 mins to complete the game. First person to get checkmated or finishes his time loses the game.
Managed to see quite a lot of the old BP chess team... Even saw our old coach Mr Lim... Haiz, brings back memories. From getting pwned to pwning. You gotta love this.
Ok, now for theact acts of stupidity. After the blitz competition, I decided to go and watch Cosfest IV: A Golden Experience, and look at the cosplayers and the likes.
Well, so I went to Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza and reached there at 1pm. I remembered seeing the timetable at 12noon, so I tot I was late.
When I reached there, there was NOBODY cosplaying. Instead, it was an event showcasing some of the top SYF winners in Singapore.
Wtf? Cause the title had the words 'Youth Festival' in it, I tot I was going to start later, so I went over to Cineleisure Orchard to LAN and pool(Arcade pool, $2 per game.) At the pool, I cut myself quite deep against the pool table itself. Omg I think it about 3mm in. Pain as hell. Was bleeding for about 1.5 Hours before it stopped. Ouch lah.
Ok, so I returned to Ngee Ann at 4pm. Wtf? Still Cheerleading with Indian Cultural Society coming up? Zzz. So I went home.
Well, at home, when I visited the website again...
