That was followed by the setting up of the booths until 9am, before there was a short meeting that the President had to attend. Between 7.40am to 9am we setted up the whole booth. The tables and tableclothes were settled very quickly actually, but the banner turned out to be a pain in the anus as it kept sagging down and couldn't stay straight. In the end, we had to give up on strings and decided to just tape up the whole thing to the wall on the second story. LOLS. Good thing was, it worked, and it looked good =D. (Damnit, no camera = No photospam)
9am after the briefing, I asked Adelene on what it was about.
And thus, I discovered the true meaning of Servant Leadership. The Presidents were asked to go to the void deck and bleaches and clean up all paint residues that were left on the floor.
I do agree with the concept of servant leadership, that the leader should contribute in whatever way possible, but this...
This is really the exact example of servant leadership. LOLS. So, Adelene and I were wiping the void deck floor with thinner and a piece of cloth, before a janitor came over and borrowed us 2 Scrappers and a plastic container to hold the thinner in.
Thanking him, we got back to work... Until... Disaster hit us.
The thinner was so strong, it started to corrode away the side of the container. In the end, the thinner corroded a hole through the side as it was Acetone Thinner.
After doing that for a while, we decided to go settle our noticeboard. I went up to the library to get a chess puzzle(Look at bottom of page) and a bridge puzzle to attach on the board. Then after settling the board, treated the group to a drink of milo at the canteen and went back up.
Went back up, and problem number 2 cropped up. Apparently, 2 boards of bridge sets were missing. One empty board and one filled board. With only minutes before the checking of the booths, we all split up to go search for the board. Only to find that a few minutes before the time, the boards were left at the Squash Booth, with no idea who left it there.
And before judging started, we were informed that our noticeboard was too empty. Thus, we went down and randomly pasted cards on the noticeboard!!! =D, can't say it wasn't fun, but I did something INCREDIBLY stupid.
While pasting the board, I said OUT LOUD. "Paste until like that! Say too empty also no space to paste liao lah!"
Then... The judges walked down from the staircase, they heard every word that I said.
I quote from Mr. Vincent Loh,"Hi Kok Hong. Really?"
Zzz.
O well, judging went out fine actually, really nothing much to complain about, with improvements made and we were ok to go! =D.

White to Play and Mate in 2
..
After AC's open house, me and Kenneth went to Mrs Joesph's party at her house. Intelligently, Kenneth and I took the bus in the wrong direction for 12 stops before noticing, and thus wasted about an hour of our time.
Zzz. Well, at least the party was fun, meeting up with old friends, talking to Mrs Joesph...
Interesting Event. After the pizzas, the bunch of T2 guys were all outside talking. Then Mrs Joesph brought out a Water gun for us to play.
Then came 6 more water guns for 7 people.
Need I say more?. I went home on the air-con 67 bus soaking wet.
But hell yeah, it was cool being 5 years old again. LOLS.
