Last day of A*Star

Haiz, started out a whole month ago, and honestly, back then, I seriously thought that it was a complete waste of time. At least it has taught me that I'm not suited to be a researcher when I grow up.

Now, as the whole attachment drew to a close, I still think it wasn't a good use of my time.

Though I must say, I do miss some stuff though.

1) Free Coffee and hot Chocolate.
Who can resist the vending machine situated in strategic corners in the building? Especially when its free? I mean, proper coffee and hot chocolate made to perfection from a vending machine is hard to come by in this world, and we should enjoy every sip of the delicious drink.

2) Food!
Though the whole attachment, I dare say I've almost eaten from everywhere cheap in the area. From the Food Center in the Alpha, to the Japanese Restaurant in the Capricorn, to Foogle Hub and the NUS Prince George's Hostel Canteen, and the NUS Canteen at the Maths Faculty.

Not to mention the 2 bowls of instant noodles I've enjoyed with fellow research mates =D.

And the fried chicken I shared with Benjamin today =D.

3) Free anime.
IHPC has their own ISP.

Fast connection, plus access to http://www.crunchyroll.com/ without limits...

Lets put it this way, Linda is finishing Bleach, Milton watched Clannad, I'm finishing Bokura Ga Ita, and Kenny finished all that including Nana, Claymore and Nodame Cantabile.

O, and Benjamin also finished watching Cowboy Bebop.

Man, life is good.

4) Friends.
Unfortunately, I didn't bring a camera there today as I don't have one. Thus, I got no pictures of anybody from my research batch that I could post on the blog now. I'll see if I can get a copy soon =D.

Still to everybody there, from Milton, to Linda, to Kenny, to Benjamin and Kannan, thanks for everything that you have done to make this time as worthwhile as possible. At least we had a good time together for the past month, whether playing Xgen Studios or watching animes from Crunchyroll and listening to Hatsune Miku, thanks =D.

Now the only thing that I brought out of IHPC with me.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
=D.
