Eric Clapton - Let it Rain
The rain is falling through the mist of sorrow that surrounded me.
The sun could never thaw away the the bliss that lays around me.
Let it rain, let it rain,
Let your love rain down on me.
Let it rain, let it rain,
Let it rain, rain, rain.
Her life was like a desert flower burning in the sun.
Until I found the way to love, it's harder said than done.
Let it rain, let it rain,
Let your love rain down on me.
Let it rain, let it rain,
Let it rain, rain, rain.
*Nice Short musical interlude. Lols.*
Now I know the secret; there is nothing that I lack.
If I give my love to you, you'll surely give it back.
Let it rain, let it rain,
Let your love rain down on me.
Let it rain, let it rain,
Let it rain, rain, rain.
Let it rain, let it rain,
Let your love rain down on me.
Let it rain, let it rain,
Let it rain, rain, rain.
*A Longer, Nicer musical ending. =D*
..
Because it rained today. Lol. His electric guitar is probably the only one I liked my whole life, thus I really had to honour the great guy somehow.
Moving on, today was a really long day, I'm surprised I survived through the whole day. Honours Night was just horrible, not the planning cause it was the best possible, but that waiting for 3 hours was really just not the right way to host an event. An interlude halfway through might be a better choice. Gives the performing arts a chance to show their talents to the parents as well.
Anyways, ended slightly earlier than usual at 8.45pm, and helped the uncles and aunties to set back the chairs in the hall, together with the 32nd Students Council. Though they've been compared as being inferior to the past batches, I guess I should point out that only them and I bothered to stay back and help the uncles and aunties, and there were nobody else that bothered. So much for pointing your fingers at others. =)
Congrats to the awardees, you'll worked hard for your awards, and definitely in one way or another. We might all point fingers at one another questioning their eligibility and other on why they didn't get an award, but lets just remember that we are all human, prone to the sin of commenting on others rather than ourselves.
So to ACJC, to the 32nds, to Eric Clapton, to my schoolmates, to the rain.
Enjoy the day. =)
