The end.

Or isit the beginning? I dunno, you decide. Anyways, this is gonna come in parts. I've just finished Halo and I'm waiting for James to pass me Call of Duty 4 =)

1) Birthdays. Ok guys, thanks to everybody that remembered =). Also, Happy Birthday and Han and Matthew who turn 18 today, and Ms Koh and Gladies on 9Nov and 8Nov respectively =)

Once again my bday landed on an examination time. Not that I'm complaining about it, come to think of it, it was rather well spent, had time to really just relax.

2) A Levels and its Musings. I shall go paper by paper, shouldn't take too long.
i) Before A Levels, the start of it all, spent so much time amongst the teachers with consultations and all. Almost saw Mdm Ong twice a week and the others once a week. Lols. Somehow, you just get the feeling that while you've done a lot, perhaps even more than O Levels, you just feel that you haven't really done enough.
ii) General Paper 1 and 2 on the 3Nov. Rather difficult papers actually, with Paper 1 dishing out ridiculously obscure topics and leaving out traditionally popular ones, such as Environment and Education. Paper 2 was relatively easier compared to Paper 1, think I should survive that one with a B. Paper 1 is so haphazard that I really don't dare to give a guess.
iii) Physics Paper 3, wasn't really a difficult paper actually. It was actually the one closest to the level we should be expecting. Most papers given through this year were really above the average standard. Perhaps not really on content, but more on application skills.
iv) Maths Paper 1. Thank god for my maths background. Bloooody hell, its difficult for an A Levels paper alright. Damnit, its almost like they're out to completely obliterate the 2nd year of this new H2 style of grading.
v) Chemistry Paper 3. Once again, well over last year's standard, but still manageable.
vi) Maths Paper 2. The pure maths section was a complete horror. If not for the toned down Statistics portion, I probably wouldn't have had enough time to complete the paper.
vii) Physics Paper 2. 1 hours 15 mins of mindless vomiting of information. 'Nuff said.
viii) Chemistry Paper 2. DITTO. Except you had time to check.
ix) Economics Paper 2. Balls.
x) Economics Paper 1. Balls again. Lols. I think I'm really screwed for econs. Hoping for C.
xi) Chemistry Paper 1. Just when you thought the exams were over, here comes along, the most INCREDIBLE exam paper I've ever done. Really, its top notch material. The questions are really crafted to perfection, at least for me, because I found the questions to be tickling my brain throughout the entire time. Kudos to the setter of the paper, well done! PS. My condolences to members of 2SB1 due to Question 28.
xii) Physics Paper 1. This was today's paper. Nothing really interesting about it. As per usual, some particular questions I did like, such as the relationship between Work done and velocity of particle in a Magnetic field, but were too little to count.

3) Coming back, I realized that I've really studied in quite a LOT of places this A Levels.

7. Starbucks @ Bukit Panjang Plaza
8. Jurong Library
9. Woodlands Library.
10. Some random Mac @ Bugis
11. My home.
Win.

4) Day at Bugis Studying.
Went to study at Bugis with Isabel and James in the morning. I remember that it was just before General Paper, the Saturday before. And it was such a long day. Left at about 6.30am to meet James at the CCK MRT station. Met Isabel at Jurong and left to Bugis. Walked out all the way to School of Thought, intending to mug there only to realize that it wasn't open that early in the morning. Thus, we moved on to some random Macdonalds before going off to the National Library when the studyrooms opened after a while.

Studied until about 12noon before going off to eat lunch at Food for Thought. On hindsight it might have been too expensive for the taste, but then again, I've only ate their sandwiches, and not even a main dish yet.

Mugging continued until 5pm, with random jokes littered inbetween, until Vanessa arrived to study with James, and Isabel and I had to leave to meet our parents for dinner. Knowing that my parents were going to take very long, I decided to just walk all the way to Newton Circle to meet up with them for dinner. Followed Isabel to Food for Thought to get some cakes before going to the City Hall MRT station when I left her and walked towards Newton Circle.

The idea was simple. Follow the DAMNED MRT Lines. Firstly I won't get lost, and secondly, I'll get to walk past the whole stretch of Orchard Road for the first time in my life. Perfect.

Leaving Bugis, left on Stanford Road up till I pass the SMU - School of Economics and Social Sciences, where I then turned into Orchard Road, continuing till past Tangs and up Scotts Road all the way to Newton MRT station and then Newton Food Center. I did arrive later than my family, but I walked for 1 and a half hours already. I rest my case that walking was the right decision.

Was interesting walking down Orchard Road as well, didn't know there were so many Starbucks Chains in the area. Didn't recognize most of the stalls there as well. Then again, maybe that's just me. Lols.

Wouldn't mind walking again, lets see if we have the chance soon. =D

..

Ok I really gotta stop here, I'm as tired as hell from running just now. Signing off.
