The thunder rumbled in the distance, and the people has assembled within the mansion. I looked around and examined the people there, one by one. Rather gusty to have accepted the invitation, I remembered thinking to myself. I only expect a handful of people, but there were 7 of them here. Impressive.
"Welcome!", I said, as the thunder punctuated my sentence in a loud boom,"Judging from you'all here, I would assume that you have received the invitation for this..." I paused and stumbled for a suitable word for this. "...game." I finally completed.
"I'm the owner of this mansion and there's a treasure in this mansion...", I continued as scribbling started to come from the people sitting down at the seats. While I continued to repeat from the speech that I had prepared from eons ago, I took the time to... observe the 7 candidates that were present.
There were 4 ladies and 3 men. Each one with a distinctive personality. The first lady was quite a chatterbox. Even though I was the one making giving the introductions, I was pretty sure that she had more words coming out of her mouth than I did. Speaking to the people around her even though the rest were not even replying except one particular lady. I almost had the urge to take a leaf from the schools of the past and throw a duster towards her and watch the chalk fly off in a comedic fashion as it leaves a cartoon-ish imprint on her face. But enough of here, there were others in the room.
The only lady that was replying to the first was forcing a smile as she tried to concentrate on both speeches at the same time. She pushed up her glasses once in a while as she turned more and more frustrated through the speech. Was amused to see that the 'peace-loving' attitude of her's is the one that got her into this position in the first place. Blowing woman #1 off off the start would have been a much easier way to go wouldn't it?
The third lady on the other hand was just sitting down and smiling as she took down certain notes on her PDA once in a while throughout the whole speech. She looks composed, without even a small sense of nervousness in her. If she did, she was probably the best actress I've seen in a while. Halfway through the speech, she took up her glasses, as if to take a closer look of me and observe me myself. Well well, haven't we a street smart one here?
The fourth lady on the other hand was just merely sitting down there twiddling her fingers. It was hard to get any information out of her at all. Looking at her, she was merely sitting down there was minding her own business. How was I to know if she was reacting to my speech, this... game that she was in? Or merely just thinking about her cat she forgot to feed back at home? Exasperated, I moved on to the men in the room, as I completed half of my speech that I had prepared. Right on time, I remembered saying to myself.
The first man was a rather serious one, furiously scribbling notes down as I continue on my speech. His black eyes and slightly haggard look suggested him to be quite an insomniac. Yet, the tattered notepad he was writing on did show his meticulous aspect.
The second man was a large man. Very large man. Not only was him strong, he was large as well. Did I mention he was large? Twice my size, only that my mass was mostly fats, and his muscles. Yet, he was only sleeping upon the seat, not even taking in the slightest of the speech I was giving out at the moment. Full of brawn and lack of brain, I remembered marking in my own brain.
The third man was... Of a whole different league completely. The man wasn't really very buff, nor was he weak in his physique. Yet, as I continue to speak, he simply continued to tap butt of his pencil and continued staring right into my eyes as I blurted out my every word. While there were no verbal communication, it was obvious what he was trying to tell me.
"I'm watching you."
That was normal, lady #3 was like that too, but the difference, is that he didn't bothered to hide it. He sat completely motionless except for the tapping pencil. Quiet. Calm. Deep.
I've got a live one here... I thought to myself...
...
And then I fucking woke up. Seriously, that was the dream I had, and it never went past the character development stage. I was like WTF? OH COMON!
I've been having more dreams lately, yet, nothing happening. Z.
