I'm starting to question the who point of the date and time on the post itself actually. And yah, this is really becoming more of a journal than anything else. Not that I'm intending to change it I guess. Inspired articles will have to go somewhere else.
Anyways. Was supposed to be swimming with Dong Wei and Xin Jie today, got a call from XJ at about 11am when I was already at Clementi that it was going to be called off. Not that much of a big deal, since I had to visit the school to collect the money for my Eagles award anyways.
Still rather surprised that I got it. Apparently I had achieved it from achievements, though I doubt I've done enough to be deserving of the award.
But the day I pass on a free $150 will be the day pigs fly.
Saw Wei Guo on the way there, he was already intending to go back home, but he followed me all the way back anyways. Ate with him at Pizza Hut at Lot 1 later before meeting up with James to get to Sim Lim Square to look for phone batteries and speakers for my brother.
Met Isabel at Jurong East Station while we were changing trains. Apparently she was going off to Tanglin Shopping Center for a job interview. Which fell flat after they realized that she wasn't interested in a permanent job. Met her later and walked around Orchard before going home.
I really should be getting down to work on the scholarship applications and everything.
