Some interesting happened at chess today... Well, I basically found out that there was this girl in the school that actually had a very strong background in chess...
And I mean strong, she was 'C' (or isit 'B'?) Division Girls 3rd back then in the School's National Chess Competition.
That's like, whoa.
During the first match, I managed to win with a small swinder =X.

Ok Basically it started with this position, me as white. (Significant pieces only.) (P.S. Noted that a bishop + Pawn was missing for black. No matter. Nt so impt. lols.)
So with that postition I was thinking of if 1.. Nxc2, I can actually 2. Bc3+! and fork the bishop if the rook wasn't there. And that the Nxc2 can be tempted since there was the Rook fork available...

But couldn't see a way to remove the rook, so decided on 2. Rac1 to protect my pawns.

Pesistant on winning the c-pawn she played 2.. Rd2. Then I geared up for the swindle with 3. Nf1.

With that, she fell for it with
3.. Rxc2
4. Rxc2 Nxc2
5. Bd3+!
w00t.! =D Great game lah... Would have lost if match continued normally... The bishop I missed from the picture was in a good position, f3, with a dangerous pawn at e5 to create a strong position for the bishop with e4!.
The 2nd match was a draw after we played it out though she had an extra pawn. The ending position?

I kid you not. (Me as black this time.) Try it out lols, its a draw for white though it has an extra pawn. =D. Black to move. (Btw, white to move = Black wins I believe, no time to bother checking lols.)
Bah its 1.18am, I'm off to sleep =X. Man these games completely describe the reasons why I love chess. =D.
