Yesterday and today were busy days.
BUSY days.
I'ma try to post them out in 2 different posts, so thatI can increase my posts count so that the readers can read one day at a time =D.
Ok First, friday. As you guys know, friday was the NUS-NTU astronomy, big day for Derek and Dong Wei, who are itching to, for once, win their beloved senior(Rong En) in a compy for a very first time.
We reached the school, and that's when I saw the telescope for the first time in my life. W.T.F. It was fking heavy. As in, at least 50kg? In fact, when the organizers inspected it... I quote.
"Wah, this telescope. Overkill sia."
I rest my case. Lols.
Then it started with the MCQ round. Nth much really happened, so nothing to comment on.
Then the DRQ round. It was REALLY DRQ sia. They gave 80 values, and asked us to find the relationship between the values. WTH. THAT'S NUTS. Imagine, 80 numbers, 1 relationship. GG. (Btw, ironically, the relationship is much more obvious than I tot. ZZZ.)
Lunch! I only have 1 point to put through. NTU canteen has ridiculously cheap rent. Go see the price of foods there. 40 cents for a cup of milo. $4.40 for a McSpicy Meal. Its sick. Its eating heaven! =X.
Next, some interaction-with-other-ppl round. Basically, we were broken up randomly and set into different groups. Then we played some board game that involved astro. Luckily, Shaun was in the same team as me, then we joined with 2 more ppl, Weiqi from HWJC and Guo Cong from RJC. Quite nice ppl leh. In fact, we owned that board lah. 13 systems conquered. Ownage.
Dinner. (Refer to lunch. =D)
Ok, from here, we would think that we were proceeding very well. Actually, we were, until THIS round.
The observation round. Basically, remember the telescope? Yah, its used for this round to look into the sky and draw out the celestal objects that we are supposed to find. Then at this moment, we discovered something.
We forget to bring the finderscope, which was left in BP.
For the mass public,
"A Finderscope is a small auxiliary telescope mounted atop the main astronomical telescope and pointed in the same direction. The finderscope usually has a much smaller magnification than the main telescope can provide and therefore can see more of the sky. This helps in locating the desired astronomical object in the night sky."

So basically, it was completely screwed. We have the (Rmb the start of the post?) 'overkill' telescope, thugged it all the way to NTU, and.... We can't do shit with it. Zzz.
Bah, nvm. ACJC WILL get into finals. Its not whether we will. Its that we must. =D.
