Added some new blogs onto my bloglist, recently discovered them and didn't add them in, so decided to just take some time to add them in.

Today's chapel had quite an interesting message - That we are creatures build to be in a community, and cannot survive without a community. That is agreeable, for without the instinct to stay in packs, the human race would probably be extinct already.
The chapel continued to talk about making friends, and using them to help us tide over hardships by allowing them to listen in to our problems. Towards this view, I strongly reject.
The last thing I want is to be pouring my problems over to my friends. Unless I'm at the point of cracking under the pressure, I strongly believe in keeping problems to oneself rather than making other feel bad when its not their fault. I mean, do you seriously want to be telling everyone that your life sucks and make them feel bad about not being able to do anything to help at all? Also, I doubt we would like to be hanging out our dirty linen out to dry right? While some ppl may be willing to help, there are ppl in this world that won't hesitate to pwn you with that information you know.
Sure, I'm not an optimist, but honestly, I can't bring myself to be an idealist like her.
History itself have proven that the idealistic structure of communism has failed badly, due to the darkness of the human heart. No reason that another 'ideal' plan will work either.
Nevertheless, the singer for today chapel was really good, as in, seriously really good Lols. I think it was a J3, though I dun remember ever hearing him on stage in chapel before. Should have recorded his voice, and did I mention he was really good? Too bad on the point that he cannot understand his crowd. Usually, after standing for 10+ mins, repeating the same verse for 5 times is practically the worst thing to do. (=

Anyways, today was the 3rd H3 Maths Lecture at NUS. The whole H3 program really just reaffirms my view that Higher Level Maths is lower level maths repackaged in Harder Language. Maybe I'm wrong, but I guess that the next few months would probably reaffirm or kill off this belief eh? =D
