Hypothesis Testing

*Warning* DISGUSTING / SICK JOKE COMING UP. *Warning*

Don't say I didn't warn you. This whole incident was meant as a joke, thus if anybody finds it too offensive or anything, don't hesitate to leave a message, I'll take it down no problem.

But for the memories. Here you go. Lols.

..

Ok, skipped the econs revision lecture after Physics MCQ Mock Test today, decided that doing maths over at the library would have been a much better use of my time rather than spending it sleeping at the Lecture Theater. And while I was solo at a corner of the library plugged in doing my work, saw Yongye and so I went over and asked about an integration question.

While there, helped Ramandeep with a physics Questions and went back to my cubicle.

Plugged in, I continued working on the paper for a while when Darren came out of nowhere and scared the shit out of me. Talked a bit and he went off to join Ramandeep and Yongye.

Worked for a bit more, and was rather pissed to have "Viva la Vida" cut off halfway from a phone call. Just pressed the answer button without looking at the screen and surprised to hear Darren's voice on the other end.

"Eh wtf? Phone no need money one ah?"
"Ai ya, come over come over! Tell you something."

So I dropped my pen, grabbed my phone and walked over. Reaching their cubicle, Darren asked me to get into an inner cubicle and got Ramandeep and Yongye to block the way once I got in. Those bastards.

Anyways, so Darren started to share about his.... Joke.

I REPEAT. WARNING.

..

"Eh you know, I have a good idea what's going to come out for Hypothesis Testing already."
"Huh what?"
"I ask you the question see how you do. One day, Ramandeep.." Yongye started snickering.

"... took a sample of the di*k size of all the boys in the class, and tabulated the data. He discovered that Σ(x - 20) = 4 and Σ(x - 20)2 = 6." Here everybody was just laughing. And we were in the library.

"Then Yongye came to know about the result. He suggested that the value of the data was inaccurate that that the mean size was smaller than the sample's mean." By then everyone was hysterical.

"So Question One. Why is the data tabulated as Σ(x - 20) and not Σ(x)?"
"Because the mean size too big, need to resize." Here I completely forgot about the library.

"Ok ok, Question Two. Assume that on calculation, Yongye's alternative Hypothesis is correct on a 0.1% level of Significance. What does that say?"
"99.9% we got damn small di*ks." ROFL.

"Third Question. What could have happened during the course of data collection that caused the inaccurate sample mean?"
"He could have taken Yongye's sample." And he raised his arms to give a visual estimate. LOL.

"Lastly, what can be done to ensure that we will get accurate results?"
"Must ensure that the size don't change while recording the length." Here I just KO-ed and broke out. Cannot stand anymore already. LOL.

..

I'm telling you, that guy's a joker. LOL.
