Updates and Christmas Songs.

23 Dec
Well, I spent the whole day in bed and finishing up with the gifts. Really. Boring.

24 Dec
Went in the morning for a Swim and Gym with Xin Jie and Dong Wei at The Republic of Singapore Yacht Club(RSYC). Was supposed to meet at 11am, but I ended up waking at up 11.15am and only reaching at about 12noon. Damnit, made me feel like shit. Have to pay back somehow soon.

Discovered only today that Christmas was tomorrow. I always thought that Christmas was this Friday. I think I gotta have to work through the night to get the gifts done. Would be a good reason to wean me off the computer though.

Went and started gyming. Basically did mostly upper body and left cardio and lower body to when my knee was in better shape. I did do a bit of the thigh muscles though, and I think I'm going to regret when the muscles tighten up tomorrow.

After about 20 or 30 minutes in the gym, we went off to swim. Didn't help that the weather was very cold and that the sun was nowhere to be seen behind the clouds. The two of them tried furiously to try and get me to learn the breaststroke, and till now I'm still doing it like an idiot. Lols, there was definitely an improvement though. Swam a bit, and swam a bit more, with the occasional cannonballing sessions and we went off to eat lunch/dinner soon after.

Xin Jie treated us all to the food, and I'm still feeling quite guilty about it. Gosh. It was at The Wharf in the Club, thus its not difficult to envision the price of the food.

Actually, its actually just as much as most restaurants outside like Pastamania without Student prices. Irregardless, still feeling bad for the treat.

Played a bit in the arcade and while walking out of the compound, saw my dad's lorry. So we hitched a ride over to Clementi MRT station. Took the train back to CCK and picked up my NS Spectacles and went home.

..

Well, since everybody is in quite the festive mood, here goes, imo, the best voice for singing songs of this particular season.

Michael Bublé - Grown-Up Christmas List

Do you remember me
I sat upon your knee
I wrote to you
With childhood fantasies.

Well, I'm all grown up now
And still need help somehow
I'm not a child
But my heart still can dream.

So here's my lifelong wish,
My grown up Christmas list.
Not for myself
But for a world in need.

No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
Every man would have a friend
That right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown up Christmas list.

What is this illusion called the innocence of youth
Maybe only in our blind belief can we ever find the truth

No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
Every man would have a friend
That right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown up Christmas list.

This is my only lifelong wish,

This is my grown up Christmas list.
